HDPE is a highly crystalline, non-polar thermoplastic resin. High-densitypolyethylene is a white powder granular product, non-toxic and odorless,with a density in the range of 0.940~0.976 g/cm3; a crystallinity of80%~90%, a softening point of 125~135°C, and a service temperature ofup to 100 oC; melting temperature is 120~1600C. For materials with largermolecules, the recommended melting temperature range is between200~2500C.It has good heat resistance and cold resistance, goodchemical stability, high rigidity and toughness, and good mechanicalstrength.The dielectric properties and environmental stress crackingresistance are also good. The hardness, tensile strength and creepproperties are better than low-density polyethylene; the wear resistance,electrical insulation, toughness and cold resistance are all better, butslightly worse than low-density insulation; the chemical stability is good, atroom temperature Under certain conditions, it is insoluble in any organicsolvent and resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis and various salts; thefilm has low permeability to water vapor and air and low water absorption;poor aging resistance
