PA12, also known as nylon 12, is a type of long carbon chain nylon. The basic raw material for its polymerization is butadiene, which belongs to semi crystalline crystalline thermoplastic materials. PA12 has advantages such as low water absorption, low density, low melting point, impact resistance, friction resistance, low temperature resistance, and fuel resistance. It also possesses the properties of PA6, PA66, and polyolefins (PE, PP), and has advantages in lightweight and physical and chemical properties. PA12 is widely used in fields such as automotive fuel pipes, air brake hoses, submarine cables, and 3D printing.
