Product Description
TPV (Thermoplastic Vulcanizate) is a thermoplastic vulcanizate, which belongs to the class of thermoplastic elastomers. This material is usually composed of a thermoplastic resin (such as polypropylene PP) and a rubber (such as EPDM) through a dynamic total vulcanization process. In this process, the rubber phase is vulcanized into tiny particles under the action of high temperature and mechanical shear forces, and is evenly dispersed in the continuous phase of the thermoplastic resin. TPV materials combine the elasticity of traditional vulcanized rubber with the processing advantages of thermoplastics, which means that it can be used for extrusion, injection molding, blow molding and other processing operations using standard thermoplastic processing equipment. At the same time, TPV also has good weather resistance, chemical resistance and aging resistance, as well as excellent compression resistance to permanent deformation.
