High Definition, High Toughness PETG Mn610 for Hemodialysis and Dialysis Applications
PETG plastic is a transparent plastic that is an amorphous copolymer ester. The commonly used copolymer monomer for PETG is 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM), also known as polyethylene terephthalate 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol ester. PET resin is a linear homopolymer formed by the condensation of diols (ethylene glycol, EG) and diacids (terephthalic acid, TPA), while copolyesters are polyesters modified with alcohols or acids, including PETG, PCTG, PCTA, and degradable copolyesters.
PETG is a non crystalline copolyester. With the increase of CHDM in the copolymer, the melting point decreases, the glass transition temperature increases, the crystallinity decreases, and finally an amorphous polymer is formed. The content of CHDM in PETG is generally suitable at 30% -40%. Has good viscosity, transparency, color, chemical resistance, and resistance to stress whitening. Can be quickly thermoformed or extruded by blow molding. Viscosity is better than acrylic (acrylic). Its products are highly transparent and have excellent impact resistance, making it particularly suitable for forming thick walled transparent products. Its processing and molding performance is excellent, and it can be designed in any shape according to the designer's intention. Traditional molding methods such as extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, and vacuum forming can be used, and it can be widely used in markets such as sheet metal, high-performance shrink film, bottles, and special-shaped materials. At the same time, its secondary processing performance is excellent, and it can be modified by conventional machining. PETG is an amorphous copolymer ester with high transparency and excellent impact resistance, which is particularly suitable for forming thick walled transparent products. Its processing and molding performance is excellent, and it can be designed in any shape according to the designer's intention. Traditional extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, and vacuum forming methods can be used, and it can be widely used in markets such as sheet metal, high-performance shrink film, bottle and profile materials, cosmetic packaging, etc
